I currently provide coaching and advisory support across the Balderton portfolio of early and growth stage startups, and develop content and events to support the community of practice for Product leadership.

VP Product, Miro - Amsterdam, NL

 I led Product for a stream of over 100 people that delivered Miro's multi-award winning developer platform, and integrations with key strategic partners including Google, Microsoft, and Slack. I also developed the competency frameworks for Product Management, and launched Miro's APM Program, to recruit high potential graduates and develop them into world class product managers,

CPO, Crowdcube - Exeter, UK

I built the Product team, delivered a cross platform app strategy that doubled engagement on mobile devices, and drove operational efficiencies that increased the number of businesses preparing to fundraise by 7x.

Product Manager, Google - Sydney, AU, Mountain View, CA, USA

I spent 9 years at Google, starting in 2006, initially as an Engineer before moving into Product in 2009. I managed the Google Maps API for 3 years, launching over 50 new features, and tripling the developer base to over one million websites. I then spent several years in the Bay Area managing the developer platform for Google’s social and identity products, and leading a company wide effort to unify the developer experience across all of Google’s developer products.​

​I am currently a co-organiser of ProductTank Oxford, and co-founded ProductTank Exeter in 2019. I speak regularly at meetups,  industry events, and on podcasts. Recordings of several of my conference talks and podcasts are available on the Resources page.

Graduate outreach

I work closely with universities and business schools in the UK to develop product management course material, founded product.careers to raise awareness of product management amongst students, and am an Industry Advisor for the Said Business School at the University of Oxford.
